Our Terms & Conditions...


Please take the time to read our terms and conditions carefully because by ordering through this website, you shall be deemed also to have read, understood and agreed to them.  These terms & conditions also cover our emails and any other associated promotional activity and if you are unhappy with any part, you should contact us before placing an order - our contact information can be found in the 'Our Details' section below.






What Happens When You Place An Order?

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to Homecraft to purchase the product.  At this time, we will ask you for your name, email address, payment information, phone and address details.  This information is required to process your order.  A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order.  If your item is being delivered by courier, we may provide the courier with your contact phone number (unless you tell us not to) in case they need to reach you to arrange the delivery of your order.


What Happens After Your Order Has Been Placed?
After placing an order, we will provide you with confirmation (usually by email) that your order has been received.  But, our contract for the sale of the product will only exist when the order has been despatched to you.


Why Might An Order Not Be Completed?

  • the product you ordered is out of stock (although we have systems in place to try and prevent you ordering products which are out of stock)
  • we are unable to authorise your payment
  • there is a product description or pricing error
  • our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including hazardous weather and accidents.


If there is an issue with your order, we will contact you by phone or email.






How We Take Payment

Payments for orders are made through Realex using all major credit and debit cards.  Payment will be debited from your account immediately by Realex on placing the order.  We can also accept payment by cheque made payable to ‘Homecraft Interiors’ but we are unable to dispatch goods until the cheque has cleared.  Alternatively you can place an order by credit or debit card over the telephone.


Payment Security

Every effort and reasonable care will be made to keep your order details and payment secure, but we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply when accessing or ordering from the Homecraft Interiors website.  We use Realex to process your payment who are certified and approved by several leading financial institutions. Relex systems and security controls are based on current industry standards.

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday.  Saturday deliveries can be made at an additional charge, please email us for a price.


The courier will arrange a time slot with you prior to the delivery, usually within 48 hours before delivery. 


Delivery Cancellation Fees

If your item is being delivered by courier, and a time slot for delivery has been arranged with you, the courier will charge the following fees if you cancel the delivery:

Failed Delivery

If the delivery is attempted and failed the courier company will charge for a failed delivery and a return to warehouse fee, please contact us for details of the fees.


Additional Delivery Service

We offer an additional service of removing and discarding of packaging for large items, this is charged at £25 for the first item then £15 each item thereafter.  Please email us if you are interested in this and we will arrange it for you.






You are entitled to cancel your order as long as you do so within eight working days after the day on which you receive the product.  If you chose to cancel your order prior to despatch please contact us as soon as possible by email.  If your order has already been despatched, please follow the instructions set out in our returns policy.



Item Not Received



If you have received confirmation from us that your order has been despatched but you have not received it within the delivery times specified, please follow the following procedures:


Courier Delivery

Please contact us directly and we will contact the courier on your behalf.


Courier - Tracked Service

Most of our products are despatched using this method and you will be issued with a tracking number by email when your product is despatched. Please contact us stating your trcking number and order number if you require futher assistance.


Royal Mail Delivery - 1st/2nd Class Post

Some small items may be posted by 1st or 2nd class.  If your parcel does not arrive when expected, please contact us directly.  Please allow 15 working days (from the due date of delivery) for the parcel to be delivered before contacting us.  This is because Royal Mail will not consider an item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed.



Faulty Goods


We do everything we can to ensure our products are dispatched in perfect condition. However, sometimes things can go wrong.  Goods are faulty if they are received damaged.  Please ensure you check all products on receipt because any faulty or damaged items must be reported within eight working days of receiving the parcel.  Failure to report a damaged item within eight working days will invalidate your right to any refund or replacement.  We will need you to explain clearly which item or items are damaged and in some cases we will require evidence of the damage, for example by emailing a photo to us.  We will then refund the price you paid for the goods, or arrange for replacement goods to be sent to you.



Returns & Exchanges



We hope that you love the product that you purchase, however we understand that there are some circumstances were you might like to return an item. 


Notify Us First...

Firstly, please contact us so we can arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund for you.  The easiest way to do this is by completing a returns slip on our website.  This can be found in the 'Returns' section at the bottom of our home page under the 'Customer Services' tab.  Please note that if you are cancelling your order, you have eight working days after the day on which you receive the product to cancel your order.


... Then Return To Us In 28 Days....

All items need to be returned to us within twenty-eight days in the original condition and where possible, the original packaging.  You will only be eligible for a refund or replacement once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in re-saleable condition.  Once we have confirmed satisfactory receipt we will issue a refund or replacement (unless we have agreed otherwise with you).


...What If The Item Is Not Received Within 28 Days?...

If an item is returned to us outside of the twenty eight day time frame or is in a non re-saleable condition, a credit note may be issued at our discretion.


...How Do I Return The Item?...

Small items that were dispatched to you by Royal Mail, can be returned to us using Royal Mail.  The products are your responsibility until they reach us, so please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the items or boxes.  When posting the item back to us, please ensure that you include the following details in the parcel – your name, address and order number (you can find this on your dispatch email).  Please post the item to the postal address listed in the ‘our details’ section below.  We recommend that you obtain a Certificate of Posting in all cases as proof of posting.


All other items including furniture, large, delicate and made to measure products must be collected by one of our couriers.  Please note you are responsible for the safe repackaging of the item.  Please contact us directly so we can arrange this for you.  You should not arrange for the item to be collected by your own courier.  Please also note that bespoke made to measure items can only be returned if they are faulty (see the 'Bespoke' section below for more details).


...Who Pays For The Item To Be Returned?...

With the exception of faulty and damaged goods you are responsible for the return postage.  In cases where Homecraft are eligible for the return postage, a refund will be issued to you once the item has been received.



Accuracy Of Descriptions



We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices quoted on the website are correct and that all products have been fairly described.  Please also note that:

  • all prices are displayed in pounds Sterling inclusive of VAT unless expressly indicated otherwise
  • Our measurements are to the nearest half centimetre and are measured at the widest or largest part of the item unless the description says otherwise
  • Our pictures are taken using a high resolution camera to ensure that the photos give an accurate picture of the item, however, factors such as light conditions, computer settings or screen size could affect the picture and colour of the item.



Sale Price Adjustments



We are happy to adjust the purchase price of a product where the product is reduced in price during a sale.  In order to claim the discount, you must first notify us of the price difference.  You must have purchased the item no more than seven days before the start of the sale and the same item must still be available at the time of your request.  The difference between the price paid by you and the new sale price will be issued in the form of a credit note.


We are unable to offer a price adjustment on products originally purchased in a sale or on a special promotion where products are temporarily reduced in price.  Once a product has been purchased at a discounted sale price, no price adjustment will be offered even if the product is further reduced in price.



Sunlight Damage



Please be aware that upholstery and wooden furniture can fade if it is left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.  To prevent this from happening, we advise that all items of furniture that may be susceptible to this kind of damage are kept out of the direct sunlight.



Bespoke Items



Where a product has been specially ordered for you, unless it is faulty, please note that we will be unable to refund or offer an exchange.  We are also unable to accept cancellations for these orders, unless received within 48 hours of the order being placed.  We'll remind you of this again when you place your order.  Bespoke items include things like made to order furniture or any items made with fabric chosen by you.



Promotional Codes



Only one promotional offer code can be used at any one time unless.  Promotional offer codes are not valid in sale periods or on clearance items that have already been discounted unless otherwise stated.



Gift Vouchers



Gift vouchers can be purchased from our website and exchanged for products online.  Online gift vouchers cannot be redeemed in-store.  Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash but can be used towards the purchase of products at a higher price than its face value upon payment of the difference.  Homecraft is not liable to replace or refund any gift vouchers that have been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and gift vouchers are only valid with a unique voucher code.



Mailing List



When you place an order, you will be added to our email list.  If you would prefer not to receive mailings, please contact us and we will remove you from our mailing list.


Disclaimers & Limitations



We exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and terms (whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise) to the fullest extent permitted by law.  We accept no liability for any losses or damages which are not reasonably foreseeable arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of this website.

Except to the extent required by applicable law, Homecraft shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of or reliance on any content or information displayed in or on this website.
